A true bird magnet for its fruits and the dense cross-branching growth you can achieve with proper maintenance. You do need sunshine for this large shrub, which makes a great shearable hedge or green screen in the landscape. You’ll need males and females if you want fruit. This shrub is deciduous for a brief period, so use it in a setting where temporarily naked branches are tolerable.
